Pantry and Freezer Staples - Make Meal-Prep a Breeze
In a previous post, I provided 4 simple steps to making a balanced meal (check out this link for the full post). In essence, I discuss the importance of including optimal proportions of vegetables/fruits, proteins, whole grains, and healthy fats in most meals.
Of course, not every meal has to be “perfect”, but this guideline makes it easy to ensure that you’re getting a variety of nutrient-dense foods on a regular basis.
I realize, however, that this approach can feel overwhelming if you’re not used to thinking about food this way or planning out meals in advance. Or maybe you hate grocery shopping and don’t want to have to keep going multiple times a week to restock easily perishable items like veggies and meats. TOTALLY FAIR.
This is where pantry and freezer products really shine!

Just choose a few options from each category that sound the most appetizing or appealing to you and pick them up on your next grocery trip.
